Summary:
Pavlina was FANTASTIC! She accommodated a schedule change when our train arrived much later than expected, and provided an amazing overview of Sofia’s downtown sites with relevant historical perspective. She is personable, funny, and energetic - like having in instant friend show you around a new city. If you have never been to Sofia, I highly recommend Pavlina as your personal guide.

We met with Marina, who was very knowledgeable and personable. She interspersed stories into her tour that emphasized cultural and historical facts.
But even more was how helpful she was in her suggestions on our Bulgaria itinerary. And she made suggestions for what else to do in the city that would make some of the visits to Bulgarian sites more meaningful.
